There is no doubt that Kristian Smeds is the most daring Finnish director. Through the Von Krahl theatre Estonian audiences have learned to love this emotional and wild Finnish genius. His unexpected interpretations of classics are famous and infamous on theatre festivals from Moscow to Brussels. Their identity and pretentiousness requires a new type of flexible and intelligent actor – just like the ones tutored by Von Krahl Theatre and Viljandi Culture Academy of Tartu University. The theatre-chemical reaction that lasted for four years has come to an end and the explosion can be heard already.

Young, all-round talented and all-round hardened actors are bursting with creative theatre anger, passion and energy. They are holding back before the dike cracks and the waterfall of fun and improvisation breaks free. The production is being presented by European Capitals of Culture Tallinn 2011 and Turku 2011 and produced by Smeds Ensemble and Von Krahl Theatre. There are 14 performances in Tallinn, 10 in Turku, also performances in Berlin, Hamburg and Amsterdam.
