European Capital of Culture opens an information centre and presents postmark
„With good, central location and memorable design solutions the purpose of the Culture Capital’s information centre is to share quality information and contacts about the more than two hundred different projects as part of the coming culture capital year„ said Jaanus Mutli, board member of the Tallinn 2011 foundation.
The information centre will focus on the information about events of the Culture Capital, but will also have materials about Tallinn and Estonia.
The centre will be open on weekdays from 10am to 6pm and on weekend from 11am to 6pm.
The author of the interior design of the information centre is Martin Pütsep, „Tablechairs“ called “headless chickens” are designed by Tarmo Luisk, the floor of the centre is covered by a map of central Tallinn.
Since September 9 you can also buy a postmark dedicated to European Capital of Culture title. The winning postmark „Lost in Tallinn“ was designed by Heino Prunsvelt.
