Tallinn Music Week together with Ewert & the Two Dragons and Kreatiivmootor are diving into Vienna’s vibrant club scene within Waves Vienna festival!
Within the festival of 60 bands and artists on 10 stages around town Tallinn Music Week is proud to present also two upcoming Estonian acts on the bill: the winners of TMW’s Skype’s Go Change the World Award 2011 – a melodic indie band Ewert & the Two Dragons, who have just recently announced an impressive list of live dates in Germany and Finland and who are getting equally the crowds and critics excited across Europe and Kreatiivmootor - wild and experimental free-techno-impro-freak-out ensemble, who have played this season in London, Berlin and are about to get people dancing in Vienna and Reykjavik too.

A sunny and melodic indie-folk quartet, some international hotshots have titled "the crown jewel of Estonian music", Ewert and the Two Dragons have been taking the Baltics by storm. Their critically acclaimed second album "Good Man Down" (I Love You Records, 2011) is already one of the best-selling records in Estonia. This autumn the Dragons’ jangly charm will be tested on proficient European ears during a minitour to Austria, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Finland and Norway.

Originally a duo sporting weird lo-fi dada-pop, Kreatiivmootor have by now expanded into a small orchestra, with music more diverse and polished, ¬ hypnotic electronic grooves enriched with psychedelic acoustic sounds, instrumental and vocal improvisation. Their expressive nature is best revealed in wild live performances.
